Here's my game plan for Healthy Hair Growth and Length Retention:

My 1st Goal:  Full Arm Pit Length (APL) Hair by June 2011
My 2nd Goal: Bra Strap Length (BSL) Hair by December 2011
My 3rd Goal: TBD

The Regimen

Sunday:
  • Moisturize & Seal
Monday:
  • Deep Condition w/Heat (30 mins - 1 hr)
  • Air Dry
  • Apply JBCO to Scalp
Tuesday:
  • Moisturize & Seal
Wednesday:
  • Deep Condition w/Heat (30 mins - 1 hr)
  • Air Dry
  • Apply JBCO to Scalp
Thursday:
  • Moisturize & Seal
Friday:
  • Pre-Poo and Scalp Massage (30 mins)
  • Shampoo with Moisturizing Shampoo
  • Condition with Moisturizing Conditioner (5-10 mins)
  • Silky Smooth Deep Condition Mix w/Heat (30 mins - 1 hr)
  • Add Leave-In Conditioner
  • Seal with Oil
  • Air Dry
  • Apply JBCO to Scalp
Saturday:
  • Moisturize & Seal

Bi-Weekly:
  • Shampoo with Roux Porosity Control
Every Other Month:
  • Protein Treatment - ApHogee 2 Step Protein Treatment

Health Hair Rules

Less Heat
  • Flat Iron no more than Once a Week
  • No Blow Drying, Air Dry Only
Protective Styling
  • Buns/Pony Tails
Relaxing 
  • No Longer than 25 mins
  • 8 Weeks Min between Relaxers

Products

The products that I use are listed in the 'Product Reviews' section. I am sticking with moisturizing shampoos and conditioners to achieve my first goal. 

My Silky Smooth* Deep Condition Mix:


  • 4 Parts Deep Conditioner
  • 3 Parts Coconut Oil
  • 2 Parts Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Parts Honey
  • 1 Part Jamaican Black Castor Oil
  • 1 Part Love : )
Heat the coconut oil first, add other ingredients (any deep conditioner will work), and mix well.  Apply to hair in sections.
