Ok, so I'm making an attempt to do my first co-wash. Being on the road doesn't make it any easier, either...
For those of you who don't know, a co-wash is only washing your hair with conditioner. I wanted to use a regular conditioner - as a kind of warm up - and then use a deep conditioner with heat for around 30 minutes. Being that I only have a Rite Aid to shop from, I couldn't find a deep conditioner, so I bought:
Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner
TRESemme Remoisturizer
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream
Biolage Hydra-Seal Leave-In Creme
Right now I'm attempting to use heat with the hotel hand dryer, which I actually like. When I finish blow drying for a few more minutes (which I'm not even sure if it will do any good because it's not a deep conditioner), I'll rinse in the shower and try the scarf method of air drying. I used Herbal Essences for my first conditioner and TRESemme is my fake deep conditioner.
Back to the dryer, I'll follow up when I finish air drying.
TBC...
